I first noticed a bogus charge from MATT COOK on my Visa (July 3, 2022) for $79…Then when I backtracked for more potential charges, I found a $5 charge posted on June 25, 2022. In retrospect, I do recall paying five dollars for processing on a “free book” offer, but that didn’t justify the later $79 charge. And I have yet to receive any book. And it’s now July 7, 2022.
Same thing with me. Talking to my bank as we speak. Another hoping people don't catch this asshole!

There was an attempt to charge my cash app card for $79.00 from the same Matt Cook of Cheyenne WY, but I had my card locked so it didn't go through, but they will most likely try again. Like Clyde Walker above, I also remember paying for the shipping on a free book and also did not authorize any other charges, and there was a LOT of offers you had to decline (like 15!) before it would "allow" you to complete the transaction. I'm going to reverse that charge as well and get a new card.
