They are an electronic payment system and service for other businesses. I paid my utility bill online. They stated there would be a processing fee for making an online payment. Govulution handles the processing. People need to pay attention and read before they click submit payment. Don't get pissedboff because you didn't read!

My credit card was charged $1 and the only time I used my card during that billing month was a single transaction at a gas pump. This $1 charge was on a different day than my fuel transaction. Looks like theft to me!

It was for paying my taxes online. BS if you ask me. It makes it easier for them too they just know you will pay the $10 or so you don't have to mail it or heaven for bid go down there.

Govolution is an online transactions agent for organizations that outsourced online payments. In my case, I paid a city agency online with a credit card. I was told before I clicked OK that there would be a service fee. This was that fee. It added 2.5% to the total cost.

I paid my Water Utility bill through the city of Grants Pass, Oregon Online system. The bill was $52.84 and there was a $1.32 service fee that they add to the total amount of the bill when you pay online. I assumed that they would simply charge the card for a total of $54.16 and thats what the card transaction would show. I noticed that card transaction history shows $52.84 was charged by the city and the $1.32 service fee was charged by Govolution. They show as processing the same day, but as separate charges.
